Oh yes, "Out of the Closets," the anthology I co-edited with Karla Jay, was the FIRST queer anthology, first book to express the amazing ideas emerging from the post-Stonewall gay and lesbian movement -- and Sue Katz's voice was in it. I also remember the male-female periodical called Lavender Vision. The male side of it emerged as Fag Rag which was published for quite a few years (and I had several articles in it).

I had nothing to do with the fact that Sue Katz's essay is on display at the NY Public Library. The curator of the exhibit simply found it in the amazing GLBT collection of periodiocals and ephemera at said library. The curator's name is Jason Baumann, a very nice gay man in his mid-30s -- wasn't even born when Sue Katz wrote that article.
